Default RE: Walkera Dragonfly #36

Spoon,

Are you talking about the tiny rectangular plastic block? You first back off the pitch rod by unscrew it off, then use a plastic flat tip screw driver ( I use one to tune RF) to push it off. You have to be carefull not to damage the plastic slider unless you have spare. The hollow 36 shaft bents easy, I bent the spindle and the main shaft in every crash!

Im trying to disassemble my rotor head to replace the main shaft. Its the stock head. I already have it out of the helicopter... But i cant slide the main shaft out.
I took out the pitch rod, and then went to push out the plastic slider that blocks the head from coming out of the pitch slider, but it is stuck in there really well...
Is there something I need to do to get this piece out? Is there a way to make it easier?
I think from the pitch rod, the plastic piece has been expanded on the sides possibly from threading the rod in too far, and thus cannot escape from its location.

Just reposting because I did not get an answer yet. This problem is starting to annoy me, and I'm considering just drilling it out.
Thanks guys.
