the 18ss engine overheats some times you just have to watch your temp but the engine isn't bad

well it depends if your going to get the rtr model (t.15) engine. Poor engine. Slow, overheats, hard to tune..you name it. On the other hand the mt2 18ss which comes with the hpi nitro star .18 engine. This is a good engine, Not heard many bad things about it. Most of the guys on here sold their nitro star .18 on ebay brand new and bought a o.s .18cv-rx which is a quality engine. Top of the market and its a straight drop in process.
