The war rages on. Got the new motor and put it in...same problem, excessive high current draw, battery don't last 5 minutes. I've been messing with it for about 3 hours straight. I found one of the links in the Bell-Hiller pushed in too far so I corrected it and things got better. Well, since you mess with everything trying to find the problem, now I got to go and re-do the setup all over again. Right now, I've got it close to where it was before it went bad. What I found was that one of the blade grips were binding because of the Bell-Hiller not allowing that blade to pitch when collective is applied. Hard to spot...so now I've got a spare main motor now. Whew...what a nightmare these can be.
