Default RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

jackedman the savage was very easy in my opinion to put together..it took me 3 weeks tho..i have school and i play sports so i dont have alot of time to spend on building it..well since the football seasons over i think i could have done it in 6-10 hours...becuase each day i was prolly only spending 30 minutes to an hour..on it and thats not for every day..some days i didnt get a chance to even touch it

but the instructions are the hpi usual..lol lil bit of english lot of japanese but its very easy o assemble..only reason i sld it is becuase i bought a revo 3.3 and well when i compared them i did the following

i turned as tightly as possible at about 3/4 throttle on acceleration from a dead stop..the revo hardly ever flipped while the savage tumbled quite often.
then off course i knew the revo would win in top speed but they both have great torque..the savages k4.6 is a beast on torque
then i did the high jumpers..SUPRISINGLY the savages shock shaft bent on about a 8=10 foot jump...no lie! i guess becuase it landed so hard and flat..but a shock shaft was slightly bent
the revo's a-arm cracked..so they both had cheap weaknesses there..i tried the barracade smashing backflip u see on the traxxas web site of the video...doesnt really work like they showed it lol..all i saw was revo going revo going revo broke..lol

but if u pick the savage i guarntee if u break it in right u wont have any complaints same for the revo there both awesome trucks they both have their flaws
and the price difference is very short

but in my very own opinion..the revo is well more race suitable outta the box
