So I've got a Tipsy and a Crazy Max under my belt, so I moved on to a Wattage Tangent after all the fun I had with the CM. I've flown it four or five times, and I like it alot although I wish I had expo on my TX. I swapped the stock 7.5X5 for a 9X6, I'm still a little fuzzy on the changes that prop diameter and pitch do for the airplane. With the stock prop will it fly slower, longer? Or with only less thrust, at the same speed? Is this prop too big for the stock 370 3.67to1 motor? Or should I upgrade to the 4.25to1 gb Wattage sells? Also the Tangent is built for a new 5/4aaa 9.6v 800mah pack, do different size cells with the same mah deliver current faster than others? As with the CM the landing gear is not very sturdy, does anyone a have a strengthening suggestion or possible replacement option. Finally, the landings when I throttle down for landings I have very little control, is this normal for low wing planes? Unfortunately w/o the landing gear I've been floating in for a soft cartwheel / belly slide in really tall grass 4ft. with little to no damage yet.
