Apologize that this has been discussed before.

Here's why I like glow vs. electric: 1) The same reason people like to go watch a NASCAR or IRL or CART race... the sound, the horsepower. 2)The challenge of getting a glow engine tuned and humming. 3) The wonderful kind-of-sweet smell of nitro exhaust that takes me back to my teenage years flying hard-to-start U-control planes. 4) Cheaper all-around vs. electric (as far as I can see). 5)The perhaps unpredictabilty of the fuel systems, etc., (which may lead to deadsticks, etc) which IMHO add to the challenge and enjoyment.
