Might also want to check into the new Spektrum modules if you currently have a higher end Futaba. I've been doing some research and they sound pretty cool. I have a Futaba 9C and am planning on giving these a try to keep from having to buy a new radio. The 2.4 Ghz module and 9 ch. reciever are supposed to be about $300, beats the hell out of $600+ for a new radio. I guess they are not quite as fast/responsive as the radios with it built in, but are much faster that PPM/PCM radios. Just something to think about.

BTW- the flightline was packed for most of the day today until the wind picked up out of nowhere, we had a few gusts that blew over toolboxes! I can't say I'm willing to put my planes in the air when toolboxes are blowing over! I've never seen anything like it. Oh well, better luck next week.
