Well, I made it very clear that I preferred the engine be replaced. They basically said that it is repairable and that there was no reason to replace it.

To the previ post I meant to add that it should be your choice if weather you would like to have the engine fixed or get a brand new one! It's how I would run things. In fact, some of the good manufactures have offered both options to me when I have had defective engines from the get go. Horizon hobbies policy is that they fix them, but if the part is on back order for >a month, they replace the engine for free. They will do better if you ask the right people though. I will do business with them again because they have always given me the beni of the doubt.
