i dont think he was saying the engines wont do 55 he was saying for the money there are better options available and also the boat not been able to handle those speeds!!.imagine hitting anything at 55 mph any boat will sustain damage at that speed but if the glass is thin id say its goodbye boat not to mention your new modded engine!!.if you can afford a modded engine why not buy a better boat and stick withthe engine you have and concentrate on set up rather than hp claims .
