Ok if you remove the Gasket under the Glow plug, you are REDUCING COMPRESSION. This, combined with a bad glow plug can lead to Pre Ignotion, Detonation, and all kinds of BAD stuff. NEVER do that unless you know what your doing! Even then your running a risk.
While the general message you're trying to send is good advice for newbies...
When you remove the gasket from under the glowplug... you are INCREASING compression.
(By inserting the plug further into the combustion chamber, you reduce the volume, increasing CR)
