If it's too lean, it won't transition but quickly die when you goose to 3/4 throttle...
You basically keep leaning the low needle until the transition quits being smooth and fast... when you get to the point that it'll slightly hesitate (like missing a beat) then go... that's the titch too lean setting and you need to back off to last smooth transition setting...
Then reset your high end...
