Both my son and I have done this conversion and the resulting increase in performance is awesome. Weight is no longer an issue!

Can you post any pictures of that setup?.. I've been told by a lot of reliable sources that it can't be done on the stock DF board, including Mike at Spectro, He said that the flight board has to be reconfigured to be compatible with brushless motors. and he designed the boards.
I would love to see it, I'm sure most of us with DF's would.
