Default RE: Extreme Flight 88" Yak - Build and Fly

ORIGINAL: cwhite

Got 3 more flights in on the yak today. Plane flies great and I was able to dial the B60 in. Engine runs better every flight. I was lean on the bottom and rich on top. At the end of the day I was running the Xoar 23 x 8 at 6900. I'm still running lawnboy 40:1. Man that stuff is hard to clean off. Worse than glow fuel. How long before I can start running the good oil? Did some hovering and harriers today. Rock solid. Good day today! Temp was around 70 and wind didn't get above 5mph.
DA recommends 4 gallons of break-in before switching. You should check with Brillelli and see what they recommend.
