DA recommends 4 gallons of break-in before switching. You should check with Brillelli and see what they recommend.
1 gallon of 40:1 is what Scott recommends [8D]
I wonder if you couldn't do that for any engine. I never understood why you needed to run 4 gallons through a DA, but I always have.
Yea I agree...I ran my first DA in with 4 gallons of that Lawnsludge and my second one I stopped at 2 and saw no difference in performance...Maybe DA's are made from a magical new alloy!!
