The Board works with 3 Gyro Breakout Board - ADXRS300 - 300 degree/sec, 1 Triple Axis Accelerometer Breakout - LIS3LV02DQ
and optional with 1 compass module, 1 gps module and with a Barometric Pressure Sensor - SCP1000 - Breakout.

So, you can build a very fast and powerful FunFlyer or a very stable Aerial Video or Photo Platform.

The modules are from sparkfun.com.

On two of my videos, you can see flights with the triple axis accelerometer, this thing don't need a pilot with rc...

Hammer - just a clarification - the main board with PIC chip can be set up to make use of the gyros, the accelerometer AND a compass, AND a GPS, AND a barometer? or is it gyros accelerometer, and One of the last 3 options (compass or GPS or Barometer)
