Default RE: Best 3D plane for 91 fourstroke???

ORIGINAL: GRANT ED

I had a UCD 46 with a .91 in it and I did not like it. I spend 95% of the time flying at less than 3/4 throttle. The climb was impressive but big deal. I would rather have slightly less climb and not carry the excess weight around. IMO the UCD is better suited to a .72 size. I ended up selling the UCD and the person that bought it said the same thing I did and ended up removing the engine and selling the airframe. Despite what most people will say, there is a such thing as overpowering. The effect is that you end up carrying excess weight from the oversized engine that ends up being used at a power setting that a smaller engine could do.
Really? Hmm... my UCD .46 has a Saito 1.00 on the nose. I'm not bothered by flying 1/2-3/4 throttle. I have weights on the tail so it balances out. It flies fantastic!
