The Axe is pretty steady in a good wind. I had Heli max Roto fly, peice of crap. It flew fine, but the tail motor burned out three times, sent it back a year ago. I took it outside and I am not lying, there wasn't even a 1mph wind and it was all over the place and the slightest downward movement on the left stick and it would just drop.

That is why I had so much hesitation about bying another helimax, But I am completely satifyed with the Axe, not parts prices though.
