RE: Wheeeeeeee.......... Blade CP!
RICK HERE : report # 12 (and final)
I am a HappyCamper. Today was the 5thday of totally CALM wind here in Houston. I am going to risk sounding a bit JUVENILE but still, I share with you guys, don't I ?
At 7 am, with no one around, took all 3 out on the drive, and flew them. I THINK that I have arrived at the end of STAGE I , as far as learning to fly a HELI is concerned.
I can now, without question, Spool up, HOVER, ForwardFlight Fast AND Slow, pivot and return from both directions, NOSE IN and hold for any length of time, and PORT and STARBOARD hover and hold, although the STARBOARD (right view - nose pointing to the right) is still a little weak... I am restricted in space because I fly on a driveway and a street intersection so I don't go too far. Still I go up about 15 ft, out and return.
How I wish I could TAPE THE FLYING, but I have no one to do the camera work. I am out of screen range for the TRIPOD now ... !
I am going to keep the training spreaders on for a while still. I came down on the grass side of the driveway, caught the side and skinned the C/F blade (1) on the PRO. Had an E-Flite set of symmetricals. Weighed them, they are within "" 5 / 100 of a GRAM ** to each other, almost unbelievable. I think the PRO flyes happier with WOODIES, seems like.
Pls XCUSE this ole phartt if I do sound a bit young and stupid, but this is a big EVENT for me.

I won't report on flying anymore. But I will STILL pester the thread with BUILDING, MECHANICAL and TECHNICAL ADVISE, all of which I am ignorant about.
