Default RE: 3000 mah NiMH Battery Pack trickle charge question

A lot depends on teh internal resistance of the pack.
I would recommend 3 amps as maximum. I would not use 4 amps.
I would recommend a trickle of C/20 maxumum or 150ma on that pack

Hi everybody! I just have a quick question about the package on a new Venom 3000 NiHM high-voltage battery pack. I read the back of the package and on the back it says DO NOT TRICKLE CHARGE BATTERIES. However, I also bought a fancy new trickle-charger NiMH charger. It has a trickle charge function to "extend the life of batteries and keep them at max charge. Are the two compatable? Thanks for the help everyone. (By the way, I am planning to use the battery on my new RC boat. It says on the battery box to charge at 3 or 4 amps, and that 4 would hurt the battery's total life. My charger has settings for 1,2,and 4 amps. Should I be worried?)
