Magnum,

The 225 is a Hitec Mini Servo rated at 62 Oz on 6 volts. There is a bulk head in the rear just in front of the stab. I used 1/8 lite ply and formed a piece that would butt up agaisnst this bulkhead and followed the curve of the fuse. I then cut out the servos holes so that I had a 1/4 inch space from the bulk head. This will place them where the existing push rod holes are now located. I then added a 1/8 piece of ply 1/4 in wide on the outside of the balsa then mounted the servos in the normal fashion. Full size servos would be a problem as I had to use the ply on the outside for two reasons one to get a straight shot at the controls and two to get the servos not to hit on the inside of the fuse. On the wings I made 3/32 light ply ribs following the contour of the existing ones. I centered the servos to the ailerons and then butted one new ply rib with the existing one and then centered the other one between the ribs. I used 1/4x 1/4 maple blocks for the rails. I mounted the servos upright again using the 225 Mini's. You could build a mounting plate and a hatch to mount them sideways if you wanted. I did not take any pictures when I was doing all of this so all I have a ones of the finished product. I hope this makes sense if not I can try and do some drawings to forward via email.
