Well that IS the conundrum...

You don't want it getting away from you where it might get someone hurt, but I don't want it quitting if it gets glitched or hit either, that's my reasoning for going to a low power setting for failsafe. I witnessed several problems with jet powered models at a rally last year where the engines quit due to the rx's going into failsafe. IIRC from what the guys were saying, AMA requires that turbines must shutdown on failsafe activation and that apparently was what was happening as there is a readout on those jets telling you what happened. Unfortunately, two of them did not survive in big enough pieces to get that readout...[]
