i'd think you'd better lube the head with some silicon spray, those stuff used in car shocks, i've had similar symptoms after rebuilds and after the oil soaks in, it's all good. run it up to speed without lift off for 20sec or so after you've put silicon oil on just to spread it out and stuff.
