Holy Molly,, another crash and some CA... Sloww down, it'll save ya a lot of time and $$$$.
After my three rebuilds, I decided to take it down a notch... Have'nt had a mishap in about.. 3 weeks or so.

Crashcrash and I, always say, SetUp is the key, take the time and effort to do so.

Hi Dave...and all these NEW GUYS...WOW! I can't keep up with it all. I'm going to do the DD based on the "never had a moments problems" after he did it!!! Thanks guy! I put mine up...very little to NO wind tonight. Man, I had forward flight HOWLING!!!! Then out of no place as I was in a pattern comming to my left...a tree jumped right out in front of my heli! I killed the throttle on impact and it was about 25ft up (they always land in the top of the trees). Well...the ole extension ladder and the Ford 861 farm tractor to the rescue again. Damage...canopy was destroyed, the spindle was bent, broke off a piece of the horizontal stab of the superskids, and I had to re-glue the tail boom...that's it!!! I had all the parts and it's already hovered here in the 7ft hole. Here's a bit of advice...FLYING it is NOT HOVERING it...it's two different animals. When you're moving forward at a high rate of speed... it acts more like an airplane than a helicopter except you gotta keep on the tail too. Wow...what a night. I figure I'll finish trashing this airframe and do the $89 airframe replacement thing. I pretty much had it in my head that I would FLY this thing tonight...NOT HOVER.[:@]
