The only thing that comes to mind is that either the throttle channel is reversed or there is a problem with the radio. When you work on your heli slide the motor back so it can't engage the main gear and turn the blades...or if you have a brushless you can swap any two wires and run it backwards. This way you can work on it on the bench without having to worry about it going berserk.
