Overall, this RTR's quality seems pretty good. However, after the first couple of batt packs through it, I noticed I was getting some water in through the driveshaft tube, so I disassembled the drive train and relubed it with some marine grease. The drive shaft was a little corroded and didn't seem to have much lube on it originally, so I polished both shafts before relubing/reassembly. In this process, I also noticed the motor coupler didn't align with the driveshaft very well, it was 1-2mm off, so there was some unnecessary stress on the shaft/tube which would cause some increased friction. I re-aligned this as well, so hopefully the boat will run a little faster now, and not take on as much water through the tube! Hope to run it this evening, so I'll see if my efforts paid off...
