That's for sure Flyboy. We flew from a dirt field for a few months. The extra wear and tear on the planes was huge. Not to mention the clean up of mud after each flight. Our first field was grass. It is 100 times better than dirt. We would not mind having a grass field. I just know in a small club like ours there would be days I would be mowing instead of flying.
