Any PPM (FM) Futaba TX can be used with the BCP or Pro. If yours is capable of PPM or PCM make sure it is programmed in PPM. You want to match the blade Rx crystal to the Tx, not the other way around. Tx's are specific to the frequency that they are tuned to and it is actually illegal to change the channel. Receivers on the other hand are not channel specific. The reason behind this is that if you fly around other RC planes or helis you can put out major interference to other fliers. I experienced this first hand. My son-in law and my radio both came on channel 17. My BCP was on 21 so I just put my BCP crystal in my 7C and went out to fly. His brand new $350 plane nose dived when he did a fly by. Luckily he was able to save it, but we learned our lesson. I sent my Tx in to Futaba and had the channel changed for 20 bucks.
