Default RE: Engine Problem

I agree with delman I think that could be the problem, I hope this problem would be solved, and it really very disappointing when engine starts acting up.

Gyro Wish you all the best, and about todays flying, as last time my plane crashed as nose is heavy and HB german engine like germans is pretty heavy. I had it fixed by our senior flying friend. We took 3 planes 25 size low winger my senior friend made it tried to take many maiden flights engine acted up all time. His 40 size trainer high winger, last time it was crashed as engine was lean, he fixed it and brought it back. We took his plane's flight did good, but dead stick after a while. 25 size low winger flew really really good, I flew it and after a long time got dead stick, I landed both his planes, as he never gets scared to hand Tx to me and let it land as he is pretty confident about my flying otherwise, loosing or crashing a friend's plane does put a rift in the heart. At least I did my flying but when I flew my plane excellent take off, as it gained height, dead stick as nose is heavy, I pulled down elevator trim to the end, it glided good, but as it took a nose dive nearl 6 feet above the ground, it broke landing gear again as the engine is really heavy which makes nose heavy. Today finally we gave up on that engine, we tried our outmost best to work it, but failed, ground running excellent, RPM excellent, thrust is great but right after take off, despite it was being run rich, but again dead stick[:@] so, now my friend finally told get rid of it, and he is going to put K&B's .61 engine with pump in my plane and im sure K&B American made engine would be a great choice and its used but it still runs good. It's his engine, and he told me to use it otherwise as we are facing landing gear problems next time it would the whole plane, and I don't wanna lose my only plane. I think as 1st may is labor day all around the world, we would go on tuesday with this engine, Im gonna give you input about the flying.

Take care and keep it up Gyro with 3P's (PATIENCE, PERSEVERANCE, PERSISTENCE) Good Luck

Mody
