i have found that the fiberglass resin will definitely melt the foam (small test area). what i am doing is on the elevator to give it more surface area i have sheeted the upper and lower surfaces with thinbalsa and filled in the gap in between the points. then i wrapped aruond the edges with masking tape so i could apply fiberglass. i will eventually try to post a pic or two.
