i have a futaba 9cap with a throttle stick that clicks as you move it. i know the 9chp has a smooth throttle stick. just wondering if any of you guys use a 9cap and how you feel about the clicking?
is there a way to modify it to remove the click?
Smooth throttle is much better for heli's.
And yes you can modify it...just take the battery out and the 4 screws that hold the back on.
Look at the back of the throttle stick and you will see a metal tab with a V that the stick slides on. either staight it some or what I do is put a little piece of rc fuel tubing on it and it will work smooth.
