Well, it's pretty well decided that I'm buying it from him. I've had it now for a couple of weeks, but it's required so much tuning (not the heli's fault) that I've barely flown it. Of course, the time I did try, I learned an important lesson about Rx batteries
My opinions are a little torn on it so far. It's hard to go from a REX 450SE to something like a Venture 30, but I think it will grow on me. I mostly need to get over the size difference and try to fly it like I do the REX - it's just so bloomin' big in comparison. I should clarify that: I have flown Bergins on several occassions, so I realize the Venture is not as big as they get, but it is rather large when I started looking at it as something I would put upside down.
Anyhow, it's a nice helicopter and well made. It's easy to work on and the parts are affordable. I can't say anything to the 3D performance difference between it and a Raptor 30 (as I hear the Raptor is lighter/more agile), but I think it will do me just fine until I'm ready to start trying hurricanes, piro-flips, and the alike.
Just my 2 pennies. Thanks for asking though.
You got that Raptor up in the air yet, Helimedic?
