RE: Wheeeeeeee.......... Blade CP!
I'm confused also, but I'm learning! Yes, the 4530 is the supplied prop with the kit.
I'm making some educated guesses here. A 4530 means it is 4.5 inches long with a pitch of 3. So my 5030 is 5 inches long with a ptich of 3. The larger diameter "should" cause less RPM. Less RPM should mean less current draw producing a cooler running motor. The reason I am using the 5030 is becuase it was the extra prop I ordered with the kit but they supplied the wrong one. So it is an experiment so to speak.
I also had another theory. I'm just thinking out loud here. You mentioned earlier that maybe I could just reverse the prop to get it to produce the proper thrust deflection. For you guys that have tail motors burn out, maybe reversing the lead wires and props might be the answer. These are DC motors and are only meant to run in one direction. If they are run in the opposit direction, the brushes/magnets give up and cease to work. This is just a Theory and in no way am saying it is correct, I'm just thinking out loud to see what others might say.
