Default RE: Alternative AXE CP parts

Strat,

I may call you 'Strat', mayn't I? Though I would not take offense if you prefer the more formal 'thestratcat'. My friends, and enemies for that matter, call me 'splat' for obvious reasonsafter having witnessing my piloting abilities. I would be honored if you, and your esteemed collegues on the thread, would do likewise.

Thanks for the info. That's it? No change the radios, change the servos, no change whatever is left? Cool! Most of the cost is in the HH upgrade, so why not go all the way?

As far as research on GY240 or other for HH: everything that I can find deals mostly with how to implement the 240. Most of it is by guys who have inserted the 240 between the recvr and the 3-in-1, not bypassed the 3-in-1 (Heli-Max way). And, they don't seem to have that much luck whether they turn off the 3-in-1 gyro gain (what woul make sense to me) or just turn it down (huh?). None of 'em seem to be happy with results and there is always that old "don't blame me if you burn out your 3-in-1" (I wouldn't think the signal line out from the 240 would be enough to burn the 3-in1, but I ain't gonna try it).

Thanks for the help. Sorry to the rest of you if I hijacked the thread. I'm pretty much done now.
