Default RE: smallest plane

i cant say i've lost a girlfriend due to the hobbie, rather, my last girlfriend wanted to fly too. it was all good and fine, at first, then i found myself climbing just about every tree in the yard. if it hadnt been as funny as it was, i probably would've been a little upset

the work that goes into these little sub gram planes is amazing. a 4x8mm pager motor is tiny, i cant imagine trying to remove the endbell and brushes, then the magnet and casing, and rebuilding the entire thing without the casing - the brushes on the 4mm motors are ridiculously small.

the flying cube flys quite well, i've built a ton of them. they're an easy quick build and are pretty sturdy, installing the AA electronics takes all of about 2 minutes. its a good flyer, considering what it is. i've got a few videos somewhere, i'll dig them up.
