Default Seagull Arising Star 40

One of my early trainers was an Arising Star. Thought it was a well built ARF and flew well. It was an even nicer plane after I turned it into a tail dragger. I did that conversion because supplied landing gear was pretty soft and was getting fed up with it bending all over the place. I took care putting the wing together and although I never really stressed the plane, the wing came apart right in the middle. I buy the occasional arf and now fiberglass tape the wing joint, always.
