GP Cap 232 40 Size Build Modifications.
The Great Planes Cap 232, 40 size built is already finished, the purpose here is not to follow the entire building process, I personally think that the owners manual have better photos of the process than those that I could take, instead of the building process I intend to post the modifications process. The Building process have only one deviation from the book, I did not installed the rods for ailerons because one of the mods is precisely install two servos for ailerons instead of only one.
The second modification is installing dual elevator servos instead of one.
The third modification is installing a pull pull system instead of the rear rudder servo.
I hope this thread could be helpful for me and anyone here at RcUniverse with the information that all of us could share.
I also want to share that I will not use the standard size servos for ailerons and elevators, I plan to use the Mighty Mini Ball Bearing Hitec HS-225BB, and for rudder I will use the strong HS 475 HB and one standard servo for throttle, for power I will use a Saito 91 that I already own and is still strong.
The trim that I am planning to use is partially copied from the Sebastiano Silvestri newest design; I also noted this trim on other different plane in the last issue of Model Airplane News and really look cool.
