Chris, I added ailerons to my 'Rita by building up "barn door" type. Ther are bapproximately 2" wider and by the photos you can tell how long I made them. It took some work to do this, but I used the same method from the Sig Citabria I'm building. I use seperate HS-81 servos and even though they look a bit small, they are more than enough for this balsa monster LOL.
Some people add strip ailerons, which are the easiest to install and only takes one servo. I just like to experiment with this type of plane. There is also a website to peruse:
