Default RE: Replacing a .61 with brushless what's a equivalent?

Is not an airplane is an AIR BOAT from aquacraft .

You need RPM when there is a prop size limitation. The only way to get RPM is more lipos in series, or a smaller motor with more KV. KV being RPM per volt. The AXI 4130 can take 10 lipos in series, but, it will be wasted swinging an 11 inch prop. and you still won't be able to emulate a nitro motor spinning 10,000 to 15,000 RPM.

If I were you I would research another motor manufacturer. The end result has to be a motor that can do the same as nitro, because you have two limitations that are critical, 11 inch prop size and a 14 lb airplane weight. In my humble opinion, you may not be able to do this conversion and overcome those limitations unless you can find a motor that has a KV or 1,000 or more, swing an 11 inch prop, and run on 10S lipos, that is 10 lipos in series.

I may be wrong, but, I can't wait to read what others say, it is an unusual problem.
