Default Ethanol in a methanol burning engine, OK??????????????????????????

It will probably run, but it will put out less power. A methanol molecule produces more energy when it reacts with oxygen than a ethanol molecule.
Also, pure ethanol is hard to come by, and if you do find it, it will be very expensive. If you have cheap ethanol it is not suited for your engine. It will contain large quantities of water, and maybe some other stuff that doesn't belong in an engine...
