Above 30% you start to get into speed and pylon racing applications where needle valve settings get real testy.
They are now limited to 15% nitro. Speed used to have an unlimited class where up to 70% nitro was used as well as various wierd stuff. I think the 70% limit is because that is the most that would mix with the oil as at least some methanol is needed to make the oil mix.
