Default RE: smoke for my arf?

Dennis is correct. I use both as well. In a tight spot the Sullivan is a bit better. In physical size the TME is basically a windshield washer pump with resistors and such attached it to and is a bit fat and round but short. The Sullivan is a rectangle about the same height, a little narrower than the TME but a bit longer

Weight wise the TME is a bit heavier, now I do not know the exact difference but it's probably close to an ounce or so. Unless they have changed, the TME cannot use a Lithium battery up to a 3 cell so the battery weight alone makes that setup heavier than the Sullivan. The Sullivan can use any battery type up to a 3 cell Lithium

And I just thought of another smoke pump and that is the 3W one. It does not need a separate battery as it uses the power right from the receiver but you should increase your receiver battery. Cactus Aviation and Aircraft International sells them
