You might want to consider.

After 500 flights and numerous repairs I put the canopy on a Kougar with screws, which turned out to be a much neater installation. Also did the same with a King Kobra that I have not flown. Now when the pilot panics and looses his flight glasses they can be fixed without adding more canopy glue.
