AILERON SERVOS INSTALLATION

I cut eight triangles from a ¼ ply and glued in the corners of the bay as shown in the picture. Before placing the servos in place I made some measurements and drew some lines to locate the servos at an equal distance in the wings (Will help with the final lateral balance) and the push rod will run 90o from the trailing edge (Will help to travel the same amounts of distance). From hardwood I made the servos supports, made the final measurements and glued in place with 6 min. epoxy. When epoxy cured I lightly sanded on of the blocks so it won’t protrude on the other side of the wing and made the servo arm hole. I also drilled 1/16 holes in the corners of the hatch and installed in place with screws. The second servo is the same procedure and finishing installing the second servo I will start with the dual elevator servos installation.
