No. I painted the inside. Not sure how you concluded otherwise but I did mention how to paint the window. Use a small brush to paint the window first and then spray or hand paint the entire inside of the canopy.

Oh ok, so you painted the outside of your canopy. I painted the inside of mine, which is why it was almost impossible to mask off the window.
