There was some scuttle about this a while back, and I'm glad to see more guys are using the new stuff with great success. I've worked around the standard turbine oil for a long time and always wear disposable gloves when I deal with it and use eye protection, it's nasty Hazmat sorta stuff.

When I first started out flying for a living I worked for a place that made us pilots check the oil before parking a plane for the night, as we rarely had maintenance support at the out stations. We used to get Exxon 2380 ALL over the place, and I really do hate to think how much I was exposed to it in the past. I remember one guy spilling a whole quart all over himself. It wicks into your skin pretty quickly even if you wash up right away.
