Default Upgrading throttle/brake linkage

The problem I have found is that there are a million ways to upgrade the throttle and brake linkage on a Savage...with no single spot to find good information.

So what I plan to do is take a bunch of pics while I do my upgrades and go through a detailed process anyone could follow without having to dig all over for the information.

First thing I did last night was to simply upgrade the link from the carb. to that *L* shaped pivot. I had some spare ball mounts that I just screwed into the plastic, and also a spare ball cup piece that normally goes onto the carb. itself. Check out the picture 'cause it's kinda hard to put into words.

The only hard thing about this was cutting the metal rod to a specific length and epoxy'inf the link on. What I did was turn the radio system on and centered everything where it normally sits...then trimmed the metal rod until it was exactly the right length. At that point it was just a matter of glueing the rod on, snapping it all into place, and then letting it set and dry up. No adjusting needed afterwards.
