If you set it up as the kit with the kit gearbox, it still was going in the wrong direction. I undertand what you are saying but this is supposed to be a direct drive kit and there was no pinion or gear to consider. I just had the NC-12RCX go bad tonight. I got one defective from Tower, the one from boyztoys had the terminal break off during installation. Can't really see where I'm gaining with direct drive because it appears the motors aren't any better than the N30's. The whole deal is just a PITA. I got a replacement NC-12RCX comming from Tower and I've got two N30's comming from BP Hobby. Seems like motors are really becomming more of an issue than anything else now. So now I'm down for a tail motor and I spent $50 to keep that from happening but it still did. The one that keeps flying no matter what is the ParkZone Cub. Weather permitting...I can fly it several times a day, every day (hummmmmmm).
