Direct Drive vs Dual Drive:

Hmmmm, several of the members have not been satisfied with the Direct Drive configuation due to motors over heating,, Myself included. I mentioned that I was going to try the Dual Motor Set UP. Well, I did that tonight, took about 45 minutes and 3 BEERS.

Being an old guy, knowing that I'll never go 3D, the Dual Motor rocks.. As far as response, it's between a stock single motor and a Direct Drive motor. (I've done all of 'em) Much more stable than a singe motor. In the Dual Motor configuration, the motors share the load, and run very quite and very cool. You do have to re-adjust the proportinal gain and gyro gain, after installation.

If you decide to go with Dual Motors, the first flight or so, will be much different.. Take the first 2 flights slow..
