I'm sooo glad you got out there and showed 'em what it's all about. I have found this hobby has many setbacks and few gratifying moments. I got some kick butt hovers before the NC12 died. Rebuilding of the head was a nice improvement in stability (things were getting a little loose in the head). I'm down for....TAIL MOTORS...after I threw all that $$ at the direct drive thing. Another setback. You know what? The ParkZone Cub never breaks unless I crash it...and I never crash it. I patched the Corsair back together again tonight and ordered a couple new props. I haven't got that thing to fly but once...for about a minuet. It had a loose wire on the on/off switch that would cause the plane to go nuts and I would loose control....crash...three times...then I found the problem. The plane is now a "bondo buggy" since I've patched it back together that many times. It'll fly...if it's the last thing I ever do[>:].

Crashcrash,
Thanks for your wisdom, "break your pretty little airplsne" delemma. I'm over that now, I had a flippin' great time at the in-laws.
They had a great time and so did I... During the day, had 8 great session. Had all my batteries (4 of 'em) and recharged from my car).
See my earlier post with pictures on the Dual Drive set-up... I'm not even gonna try the Direct Drive again...N30 motors from BP Hobbies are less than 7 bucks.
So far, I've got 3 battery packs on the Dual Motors and it's EXTREMELY reliable. Just gotta readjust proportinal and gyro settings.
Again thanks,
Dave / Choppersrule

Glad you got over the "break your pretty little airplane" delemma. Don't get me wrong...you're still going to have bad days (see servo failure/link seperation).

Crashcrash,
I took the heli with me to the in-laws on our short visit.. To show the Mom and Papa the heli thing. They were amazed..
I want to thank you for telling me to push my flying, As it turned out, I advanced more in two days, than the last two months.
I was outside, Zero wind, what a treat.. Flew the circuit.. hard 90 degree turns, piroutte, and the whole nine yards.. To old to for inverted, Never Happen with me.. But, I'm very happy were I'm at.
Thanks for pushin'
Dave / Choppersrule
