RE: Question for Excelleron 90 owners
Mike
I see good reports about the Showtime but I had this motor which is suited for 8S and the Showtime is a 10S plane. Had a CA Epsilon built from a kit before and that was very nice but the wing loading was a touch high for my taste and made the landings a bit hot. The Excelleron is a nice size for where I fly. If it works out may eventually get something of similar size but better designed for electric, two piece wing, more forward hatch etc. Right now the Excelleron feels good. If I am able to move the CG back may be able to get the batteries under the wing which would be much more convenient than where they are now, up in the fuel tank.
